When everything changes

So, recently my entire life flipped upside down...
I ended up moving out, switching jobs, and dealing with a lot of personal issues. It happened so fast that I didn't even process it. I didn't deal with it right then. In fact, I'm still trying to figure it all out.
People around me were telling me to cry, stay home, go out, take time off, and they were trying to help. It did help. But the problem is, everyone deals with things differently.
No one can tell you how to handle your life. No one can make decisions for you.
The brutal truth is that you're on your own. Not that you are completely alone in this world, but you are the only one who can feel what you're feeling and you are the only one who knows what you really want.

Sometimes, when big things happen, we don't deal with it. We distract ourselves with work, fun, or whatever it is that keeps your mind from wandering to how sad you really are.
That works for a while, but eventually it will find you, and you will have to deal with it. But it's okay if you don't right now. Or if you don't know how to. We are all just walking around with our problems, oblivious to the problems of those around us. We are all finding our way and there's nothing wrong with doing it a little differently. That's what makes us spectacular.
So, when you are ready, do what you have to do. Cry for a week, watch the same movie over and over, eat everything. Because, life is hard. People can be mean. Love yourself. Do what is best for you. When you're ready. :)
